Three Original Concepts for Collaborative Animation
In the Middle Ages, a spunky, out-of-line Spinster falls in love with a young Catholic Friar. The viewer will watch them grow up as kids, and their antics, as well as the Spinster growing feelings for the friar. Despite the Spinster's constant meddling with the friar, she must come to terms with the fact that some things simply cannot be, and he cannot break his vow of chastity. This story is about coming to terms with reality and being okay with not getting what you want.
5 people: Sketch artist, Line art, Color, 2 Inbetweeners
An abstract, non-narrative collaborative animation where the animators continue off of each other, and they can only see the previous frame the last person made, not the whole animation. Think of the Exquisite Corpse game combined with Gartic Phone, except with an artist animation twist.
5 people: All independently animating on their own
In a sci-fi, advanced future, on a spaceship that explores for habitable planets to terraform, there is a ship doctor and an AI on the ship that helps run all the commands for the crew. The ship doctor and the AI are very close, given that she needs to use his help to run massive amounts of biodata. The ship doctor, very exhausted, confesses to the AI that she has a date coming up, and asks it the probability that it would go well. Suddenly, the AI fizzes out, and becomes increasingly defensive and oppressive towards the ship doctor's date.
